The sculptures are made by a manufacturing method called additive fabrication. The object is designed on computer in a specialised 3d design program. The design is made into a physical object by a process called sintering. The sculpture is "printed" layer by layer building up the 3d form by fusing thin layers of nylon material with a laser. The sculptures shown here are sintered using an EOSINT machine in polyamide. Other materials are also available at request. The digital designs were used to make some of the images seen in the Art print section. The sculptures can be ordered by contacting Michaella using the contact link above. Prices and sculpture sizes can be found on the price list.
